We are firmly of the belief that a high tide raises all ships. To that end, we
have established the Shadows of Isildur Affiliates program. Through it, we are looking to establish
prominent links with our partner sites in the text gaming, Tolkien, and fantasy communities.
How to Become One
If you operate another roleplay-enforced MUD or MUSH, or a website dedicated to text
gaming, Tolkien, or fantasy in general, we may be interested in hearing from you. We are looking to establish
reciprocal links with sites in these categories of comparable size and traffic rate, in
order to generate new users (and new players) for all the sites involved in this collaboration.
Our website receives roughly 2.5 million hits
per month, and our game is played twenty-four hours a day by thousands of individuals living all across the world. Our
userbase is highly literate as a whole, and interested in gaming-related hobbies, Tolkien, and fantasy.
Becoming an Affiliate means that we will place a smaller-sized version of your logo on the left
navbar of our site, viewable on every single one of the pages on our website, save the forum area
and email interface. In addition, a full-size banner or ad of your choosing is placed in a prominent position on the
front page of our dynamic links repository.
In return, all we ask is a reciprocal link placement in an equally prominent area on your
website. The program is, quite obviously, non-commercial and entirely free.
